Ryan J. Greenheck received his Master of Fine Arts degree from SUNY College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2004. He also received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2002. He has participated in numerous national juried exhibitions and invitational shows since 2000. Ryan's work is represented in many collections, galleries, and homes throughout the country. He was a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania for eleven years and has also been a visiting professor at several other institutions. In 2017, Ryan assisted in creating the Philadelphia Potters as well as the Brooklyn Pottery Invitational. In 2018 he created the Steel City Pottery Invitational. Ryan is currently is a practicing studio potter based in Philadelphia, an organizer of multiple invitational pottery shows, and an advocate for those practicing the art of Studio Pottery.
